At least 16 migrant workers have been killed in a train accident in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The incident took place at Karmad station near Aurangabad. All the workers were going to Madhya Pradesh.
According to the Railway Ministry, the incident took place on Friday morning when some workers were sleeping on the railway tracks. The train was carrying workers sleeping on the railway tracks. The driver of the train saw them and tried to stop the train but could not save them. An inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
According to the Karmad police, the workers were on their way to Bhusawal from Jalna. From there they had to board the train. The workers were walking along the side of the railway track. Injureds have been taken to Aurangabad Civil Hospital.

He was trampled by the train at 5.30 am on Friday.
According to reports, he worked in a steel factory.
The Prime Minister has expressed grief over the incident. He has talked to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal about this.
