Kathmandu, May 28: The budget for the coming Fiscal Year 2077/78 is being made public today. The details of revenue and income are scheduled to be presented by Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada in the joint sitting of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament today.
According to the constitution of Nepal, the government has to present the annual budget in the parliament on Jestha 15 every year. The government is bringing the budget for the coming fiscal year with the economic revival of the country at the center.
The budget is coming at a time when the country is in a state of stagnation due to the corona virus epidemic. In the budget of the coming Fiscal Year, it is expected that the budget will address the issues of making the health service more effective and for this the establishment and upgrading of health institutions, infrastructure development, manpower management and restructuring of health services.
