Prices of gold, alcohol and tobacco will rise from tomorrow

The prices of gold, alcohol and tobacco are set to rise in the coming fiscal year.

Presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year, Finance Minister Khatiwada said that the prices of gold, liquor and tobacco would increase. 
The price has gone up as the government has increased the customs duty on the import of these items.

Even though the budget is for the coming fiscal year, the increase in the price of these items will be implemented from tomorrow as per the provision that the change in the customs rate will be implemented immediately.
