Kathmandu: As the number of corona cases in Nepal is approaching 10,000, there is growing interest and concern that the government will continue lockdown again. Vehicles, air services, international borders were closed and people were banned from traveling except for urgent work.
As the government relaxes the logging, the number of corona infections has increased, and speculation is rise about the possibility of a relockdown.
Many people also seen to speculate that the government is implementing lockdown after asad closing. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ishwar Pokharel has said that there should be no lockdown like before. He says work is now underway to seal the area where the Corona has spread. The government has even changed its strategy to fight the Corona. For that, it has been found that the policy of making people's life comfortable, creating awareness to maintain physical distance, emphasizing on medicinal diet, exercise, etc. has been put forward.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has repeatedly emphasized on consuming hot water, consuming medicinal food like turmeric and ginger, exercising and maintaining physical distance. It has been found that the central government has now put the state government in the forefront in the fight with Corona. A meeting of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) held on 4th Asad, tasked the state government to seal the district or municipality concerned if the corona infection spreads.
According to CCMC member and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Gyawali, the state will be able to seal the district or municipality by informing the CCMC. Under this, the central government has entrusted the task of further improving the quarantine across the country and its monitoring and facilitation to the state government.
The present context seemed to be more challenging day by day.
Daily the numbers of protestors against country's dissatisfying work pattern and warn for stopping MCC are increasing and making crowd which may have the risk of mass spreading. There is a challange to both diesease controlling and economic growth. People and government need to cope with each other and needs to deal with great intelligence.
