One was killed and 11 were injured in a shooting in Minneapolis where Floyd was killed

One person was killed in a shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Saturday night.

Eleven other people were injured in the incident, according to CNN. According to Minneapolis police, the shooting took place in the 2900 block of Henipin Ave.
In a tweet at 3 a.m. Sunday, Minneapolis police said 11 people were being treated at a local hospital.

Minneapolis is the same area where George Floyd, an African-American, was murdered by police on May 25.
Floyd, who was handcuffed by police, died after being knocked to the neck for nine minutes. The death has sparked an anti-apartheid movement across the United States.
