KATHMANDU: The Sarlahi District Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a case against Ram Bahadur Bamjan, an ascetic accused of rape, seeking 14 years imprisonment.
Sarlahi police had handed over the investigation report to the government prosecutor's office without arresting Bamjan due to time limit. A 15-year-old girl had accused Bamjan for rape.
Bamjan, who is living in an ashram in Sindhuli, has been arrested twice but failed.
