Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has convened an emergency cabinet meeting today after the last dispute in the CPN (Maoist).
He called a meeting at the PM's residence in Baluwatar at 12 noon.
The emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers convened at a time when the party is demanding his resignation is viewed with interest.
On Wednesday, Oli had called a minister and a member of the standing committee close to him for a discussion. Another group meeting was held in Lalitpur in the evening.
