Trading is closed for today after the Nepse index fell by 6 percent

Trading is closed for today after the Nepse index fell by 6 percent.  The market will now open at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The market, which was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a positive circuit break, is closed today due to a negative circuit break.

Earlier, Nepse was postponed for 20 minutes due to the first negative circuit breaker in the first 23 minutes of trading.

After that, the open market fell again by 5 percent in 4 minutes and the market was suspended for 40 minutes when the second negative circuit break occurred.

After that, the market opened at 12:27 and went down again at 12:40.  If Nepse fluctuates by 6 percent, trading will be suspended for that day.

Today, the Nepse index has dropped by 80.14 points to 1256.11 points.
