Pokhara entry barred for a week due to increase in coronavirus cases.



 A one-week injunction has been recommended in Pokhara metropolis. The meeting of the Corona Infection Prevention Main Committee of the metropolis has recommended to the CMC to impose a one-week ban from 12 noon on Monday to 8th Bhadra.

 Manju Devi Gurung, coordinator of the committee and deputy chief of the metropolis, said that the recommendation was made as per the suggestion of an all-party meeting held yesterday (Sunday) to prevent the spread of corona infection in Pokhara. She said, 

 Probably from today (Monday) at 12 o'clock in the morning. Let's see what decision comes from there (CCMC). 'The all-party meeting on Sunday was attended by representatives of the CPN, Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party, Janamorcha and RPP. Meanwhile, the CCMC meeting is scheduled to be held in the afternoon. In Pokhara, 13 people were infected on Saturday and 22 on Sunday alone. According to the state health directorate, one more person was found to be infected with corona on Monday. The total number of infected people in Gandaki has reached 1,739.
