Subash Karki popularly known as ‘’ belase” has been struggling with Covid-19
infection in London.
He was in London since 2 years.
He himself was making aware to his people to take care during the rapid
spreading of corona.
Early , his friends moved to Nepal but he stayed to London as he thought
the health related facility is better than Nepal.
Soon London got lockdowned. His wife Bina was a health worker in
London , but had to took a leave from her job.
But he had to continue his work as he was related to security related job.
He thought to continue it.
He faced many crowds during the purchase of food and necessary
materials. He usually went to shopping center. He waited 2 hours to
buy milk for his 11 months child.
Very soon his colleagues stared to be in shelf-isolation leave for two
weeks as office would pay for that. But as being honest nepali, he
was loyal to his job and didn’t took a leave as he had no symptoms.
Four employees along with him were on duty. Soon he started
getting symptoms. And took a leave for 2 weeks.
His situation started getting worse and decided to check his swab in the
hospital. And later on, hospital confirmed him as a corona virus
positively infected. His second report also showed him positive.
He regrets for not returning Nepal along with his friends.
