Government planning for a new exit strategy for easing lockdown.

The government has formulated a Covid-19 exit strategy with the objective of easing the lockdown.
The government has prepared the action plan after analyzing that the 40-day-long lockdown has disrupted the lives of the people and weakened the economic condition of the country.
In the action plan outlined in the strategy prepared by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, preparations have been made to divide the entire country into three regions and make the lockdown easier accordingly.
Accordingly, different parts of the country will now be divided into green zone, yellow zone and red zone on the basis of health statistics and scientific analysis.
A source in the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has informed that all activities will be kept open by removing the lockdown in the districts and areas in the green zone.
Similarly, the districts and areas facing infection control will be opened only in the yellow zone and the main activities in those areas and the lockdown will continue in the areas where the infection is out of control. This news is in today's Rajdhani daily.
