According to Section 6 (3) of the Local Administration Act 2028 and Section 2 (1) of the Infectious Diseases Act 2020, it has been decided to keep the district closed from 5 pm on May 11 to midnight on May 18, said Chief District Officer Dirghanarayan Poudel.
"As Kapilvastu is at high risk of corona, much needed items (food, vegetables, fruits, milk, petroleum products, etc.) published in the Gazette will be provided," he said.
All vehicles and people moving in the district have been completely banned from moving, ”said Poudel.
So far, 15 corona infections have been found in Kapilvastu.
He is undergoing treatment at a temporary hospital in Butwal. Their condition is normal.
