The ongoing lockdown due to the coronavirus that has spread like an epidemic around the world has made people's lives difficult.
Producers are forced to bear the financial burden as work on the film, which is awaiting release and is being made, has not progressed due to the lockdown.
All offices except for daily necessities and essential services have been closed. As a result, trade, business, education, finance, entertainment and other sectors have been affected.
Due to the prolonged lockdown, the films, which are considered to be an effective means of entertainment, could not be screened even after completion of production.
Some movies have been stopped during filming. As a result, filmmakers are in trouble.
In the Nepali film industry, it has been the custom to announce the release date of the film after announcing the film. Due to which, the filmmakers are working day and night to screen the film on the announced date.
However, due to the current situation, the screening of the film has been stopped.
Producers are in trouble as dozens of films including 'Hijo ajka Kura', 'Lakka Jawan', 'Suskera' and 'Chapali Height 3' have not been screened.
When making a film, the producer has invested with the objective of earning income by showing the film, but when the film is not screened, the producer is burdened financially. Due to which, there is confusion whether a new film will be made or not.
Of course, lockdown has caused problems in the entire region. Nepali film industry is also an example of it.
