Journalist Krishna Babu Pandey has died in a road accident in Rupandehi on Saturday night.

Pandey, 30, a correspondent of News 24 Television, died in a car accident at Ba 7 Cha 6959, according to police.

Pandey, a journalist from Birgha in Syangja, had been living in Butwal. According to the District Police Office, Rupendehi, the car met with an accident on Butwal-Bhairahawa road at night.

According to police, the car crashed into an iron bar on the side of the road.
